Designed around a landscaped courtyard, the development comprises three buildings, divided into eight units in total. Mostly two storey with commercial style cores, the traditional construction and outer skin reflects the beautiful historic nature of Farnham while the internal areas provide modern reliability and convenience.
Externally you will find a mixture of Canterbury multi facing bricks in a Sussex bond, hand made clay tiles for roof and hanging tiles, painted feathered weatherboarding, render and clunch walls. Detailing includes brick quoins, arches and corbelling. The windows are openable and a mixture of sash and casement with conservation roof lights.
Internally the concrete floors and stairs with stainless steel handrails and glass balustrading gives a solidarity not often found in small schemes. Each core has a DDA compliant lift. Suspended metal tile ceilings with recessed LG7 compliant lighting, in-situ trunking and IT give flexible mechanical and electrical layouts offering high occupancy ratios. Zoned underfloor heating provides a cheaper and more constant low temperature solution with no radiators to reduce usable floor area. DDA compliant toilets and further WCs with a shower and drying area complete the picture.
