More than 30% of the projected energy usage will come from Renewable sources. Multi-zone underfloor heating and a fully automated wood pellet Biomass boiler ensure a cheap and environmentally friendly solution. Covered cycle spaces with shower faciltities and drying area encourage sustainable travel. Rainwater harvesting, sustainable underground drainage, leak detector systems, low water usage WCs add to the story. A highly insulated structure and inherent thermal mass reduce energy requriements, together with generous amounts of windows area and shallow floor plates.
