The Department for Energy and Climate Change have confirmed that they are committed to the Renewable Heat Incentive, first mooted in the 2008 Energy Act.  The final details will be available only after the Spending Review is complete and announced in the Budget 2010.  The proposals call for biomass boilers installed after July 2009 to receive a payment equal to 9.0p per kWh per year for 15 years, starting April 2011.  These payments will go towards significantly reducing the Service Charge budget for all occupiers at Carlton Yard.
